Tezos NFTs now supported on Shopify via Taco Labs integration

The most recent cryptocurrency news for the international e-commerce company Shopify (NYSE: SHOP) indicates that Tezos NFTs have arrived.

As a result of a recent integration by software development company Taco Labs Inc., Shopify merchants worldwide can now access NFTs within the Tezos (XTZ/USD) ecosystem to encourage increased client interaction.

Its “Taco: NFT Loyalty Automation” program uses the Tezos blockchain to enable Tezos NFTs on the powerful international e-commerce platform, and Taco Labs is introducing this functionality to Shopify.

No-code Web3 automation

As digital collectibles spread worldwide, NFTs are becoming more and more important to marketers looking to improve user engagement and experience.

Taco provides a complete, zero-code Web3 automation solution. Users can use this solution to reward customers with NFTs that can be redeemed for additional perks, such as exclusive goods and discounts. Shopify merchants will benefit from this loyalty automation tool’s increased customer connection and retention.

Tezos’ energy efficiency and low gas fees will also help drive further innovation in Web3, particularly around gamification and ownership, Taco Labs noted on Wednesday.

James McCombie, Director at Future Kimonos, a premium apparel provider, said:

“We loved how easy it was to airdrop Tezos NFTs at the flograppling ADCC world championship; with Taco’s shopify integration, we were able to instantly add utility and reward members with exclusive giveaways and prizes. We did this all in record time without having to write any code.”

Shopify now supports Tezos NFTs as the platform continues to include business partners to increase NFT engagement for merchants and other users. For instance, Shopify disclosed a partnership with the no-code Web3 platform Novel on Tuesday to make Web3 technology available to all retailers.
