Microsoft expands ChatGPT integration to more developer tools

The newest incorporation of artificial intelligence into Microsoft Corp’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) products was the integration of ChatGPT technology with its Power Platform, which enables users to construct applications with little to no coding.

Large tech firms like Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Inc. and Baidu Inc. (NASDAQ:BIDU) are accelerating the integration of generative AI, a technology that has gained popularity for its capacity to produce text responses to inquiries that resemble those of humans, into their products.

According to Microsoft, the new features have been added to a line of business intelligence and app-development tools under the Power Platform, including Power Virtual Agent and AI Builder.

Power Virtual Agent, a tool for businesses to build chatbots, can now connect to internal company resources to generate weekly reports and customer queries summaries.

Also, Microsoft has enhanced the capabilities of Dynamics 365, a platform for managing enterprises, and AI Builder, which enables businesses to automate tasks.

The features will only be available in the United States.

Last month, the software giant added OpenAI’s ChatGPT to its Bing search and Edge browser.
