The price of Cosmos (ATOM) increased by as much as 5% on Wednesday as it stayed near a multi-week high. Today’s session on cryptocurrency markets saw a consolidation of recent gains, with the global market value down 0.24% as of this writing. After prices stabilized, Solana traded above $20,000 per unit.

As long as prices were near to a recent multi-week high, Cosmos (ATOM) was once more in the green.

After reaching a high of $13.47 on Tuesday, the ATOM/USD reached a height of $13.41 earlier in today’s session before prices started to fall.

At the time of writing, ATOM is trading at $12.55. After reaching a three-week high during yesterday’s session, the bulls have attempted to consolidate gains.

Following an unsuccessful attempt to break over the $13.50 ceiling, bulls have generally appeared to be moving to take profits.

Looking at the chart, the decrease coincides with the 14-day RSI’s failure to advance through its own resistance area at 57.00.

The index is tracking around 51.52 as of this writing, with a floor at 50.00 a potential destination for traders.

Solana (SOL)

Apart from ATOM, solana (SOL) also held steady close to a recent high despite a change in market sentiment throughout today’s session.

Earlier in the day’s session, after reaching a high of $22.11 earlier in the session, SOL/USD dropped to a low of $20.31.

Solana reached a high yesterday that was its highest since March 2, when the token was trading above $23.00.

According to the chart, the SOL bulls started to leave their previous positions after colliding with an RSI ceiling.

A point of resistance for price movement was reached at the 50.00 level, which has been there since late-February.

The index is currently tracking at 48.91, with the next observable floor at the 45.00 level, as of this writing.
